Finding nemo, less quietly.
We joke about the visible tells for various agentically generated verbal patterns. I might be in too deep if I not only get the murmurs but start generating my own. Quietly load-bearing worth naming, yada yada.
But I gotta say that the “nobody” claims bait my inner rebel. Every time I see a claim that “nobody” does something particular, I wonder why an author would invoke that falsifiable hyberbole. My first reaction is typically to say (to no one), “But maybe I do! Am I nobody?” Followed by dead air and moving on. The hyperbolic becomes elliptical. I have found nemo—Latin for no one—and more often than not it is me.
